About Dr. Marie-Michelle “Rosie” Rosemond
Founder of Rosie’s Library, LLC | Executive Coach | Retention Scholar-Practitioner | Author | Data Strategist | Legacy Builder
Dr. Marie-Michelle Rosemond, affectionately known as “Rosie,” is a first-generation American, daughter of Haitian immigrants, and a nationally respected retention scholar-practitioner whose passion for education was sparked at just eight years old—co-teaching English as a Second Language alongside her father in a small church basement. That early experience became the foundation of a life devoted to teaching, leadership, and service.
With over 27 years of experience in higher education—including cabinet-level leadership roles—Rosie is recognized for her research-based, heart-centered approach to student success, persistence, and retention. She has helped institutions transform systems and outcomes by merging data-driven insights with cultural understanding and executive strategy.
Today, Rosie brings her academic rigor and leadership experience to Rosie’s Library, LLC, a platform committed to growth, purpose, and well-being. She empowers individuals and organizations through three core offerings:
First-Generation Leadership Coaching: Executive-level coaching for leaders navigating uncharted territory, often as the first in their families or industries to hold power and influence.
Data Is My Happy Space Coaching: Strategic planning and analytics coaching for mission-driven professionals ready to shift narratives with clarity and precision.
Author Support Services: End-to-end guidance for aspiring writers looking to publish their story with power, intention, and purpose.
As both a scholar and practitioner, Rosie is passionate about helping people move from survival to strategy, from potential to platform. She integrates evidence-based practices, cultural fluency, and a legacy of faith into every engagement.
Beyond her professional life, Rosie is a powerlifter, wellness advocate, and founder of a faith-based initiative for Christian athletes. Whether in the boardroom, classroom, or prayer circle, she is devoted to helping others live and lead with boldness, grace, and impact.
Signature Belief:
“Your lived experience is not a limitation—it’s your library. And it’s time to turn the page.”
